Top 14 player of the year Francois Trinh-Duc has been benched for Montpellier's clash with Lyon on Wednesday.
Trinh-Duc is one of nine players to make way from the side that shocked Clermont last time out, with Montpellier clearly having one eye on Sunday's meeting with Perpignan.
Scrum-half Benoit Paillaugue, lock Thibaut Privat and wing Yoan Audrin are also named among the replacements while hooker Agustin Creevy, full-back Lucas Amorosino, prop Georgi Jgenti, centre Geoffrey Doumayrou and number eight Sakuisa Matadigo miss out completely.
Lyon will be without prop Philemon Toleafoa (ankle), while Xavier Sadourny, Arnaud Marchois and Sisa Koyamaibole are also missing from the starting XV.
