Gloucester v Quins: Teams

Gloucester head coach Bryan Redpath has been boosted by the return of captain Mike Tindall for Saturday's Aviva Premiership clash with Harlequins.

Tindall returns after being rested for the visit of Rovigo last weekend and will partner Henry Trinder in the midfield.

Trinder is set for a third start in a row as he proves to be a more than able alternative for injured duo Eliota Fuimaono-Sapolu and Tim Molenaar.

Welsh international fly-half Nicky Robinson is back at No.10 and Charlie Sharples is preferred to Lesley Vainikolo on the wing.

Quality

In the pack, there are just two changes from the side that started against the Italians last weekend with Nick Wood and Brett Deacon both restored to the starting line-up.

With Gloucester currently in fifth place in the table and Harlequins in seventh, but level on points, there is plenty at stake as the sides meet for the first time this season.

Redpath admitted that he respects the visitors and the quality in their side but that Gloucester are focussing on their own game.

"Quins are a dangerous side. They've got probably one of the best eight, nine and ten combinations in the Premiership and you can't disregard that," he said.

"But we've got to focus on what we are and how we impose ourselves on Harlequins. We have to execute well, we have to defend well. If we do that, then we'll be in the game.

"It could be quite open. That's the nature of the two sides, we both like to play and to attack. It could come down to who defends worst, loses the game."

Tragic

Meanwhile, after back-to-back wins in the league, Harlequins will be keen to continue their winning ways in the competition when they go to Kingsholm.

There are a number of changes to the side that earned a bonus point win against Cavalieri Prato last week in the Amlin Challenge Cup.

Up front, Joe Marler, Chris Brooker and John Andress make up the front-row, with Tomas Vallejos and George Robson combining in the second row. Will Skinner, the only player remaining from last week's pack, is joined by Nick Easter and captain, Chris Robshaw.

Nick Evans takes his place back in the driving seat, linking once again with Danny Care at scrum-half. Gonzalo Camacho and Tom Williams retain their places on the wings, along with George Lowe in the centre. Jordan Turner-Hall returns to join Lowe in the centres after a two-week injury absence and Mike Brown finalises the starting line-up at full-back.

The absence of James Johnston from the match day squad is due to the sudden and tragic death of his sister.
