First-half tries from Peter Murchie and Gordon Reid helped the hosts open up a 20-6 lead by the break and they put the result beyond doubt with an effort from Tom Ryder straight after the break.
Tommy Seymour went on to bag a brace of tries as Glasgow made light of a number of absentees due to international commitments with Scotland.
All the Dragons managed in reply was a pair of penalties from winger Tom Prydie, meaning they remain second from bottom in the standings.
Looking very assured from the kick-off, Glasgow took the lead inside just five minutes with Scott Wight striking home a long penalty.
Their first try arrived after 16 minutes, full-back Murchie capitalising on Lewis Robling's poor clearance to sidefoot the ball through to touch down himself.
Josh Strauss had a try chalked before loosehead prop Reid tore the ball from a ruck - cleverly set up by Wight's change of direction - and galloped over 20 metres for the second try.
Prydie kicked six points before the interval to give the Dragons a glimmer of hope, only for Ryder to douse their hopes three minutes after the re-start.
The bonus point was assured in the 65th minute with Seymour's first try of the night, while Wight converted the winger's second to finish with a personal haul of 12 points.
