Exeter v Montpellier: Teams

Exeter boss Rob Baxter has made 13 changes for his side's first foray into Europe - with Montpellier the visitors in the Amlin Challenge Cup.

Only Chad Slade and Phil Dollman are retained from the side that took a losing bonus point against Northampton.

Slade remains at blindside, while Dollman switches from the midfield to full-back.

Among the changes there are first starts for summer signings Junior Poluleuligaga, Ryan Davis and Andrew Higgins, while highly-rated youngsters Herbie Stupple and Dave Ewers come in.

And despite the changes Baxter is confident of getting a positive result.

"I'm expecting the team we have selected to do very well," said Baxter.

"I'd be very disappointed if we don't win. Being at home in European competition is a massive advantage - and the fact Montpellier are doing so well in the Top 14 means it's probably more of a distraction to them."

Montpellier have also named a largely second-string team - with their domestic challenge taking priority..
