Last-gasp points from Joaquin Tuculet and Rhys Patchell gave Cardiff Blues a dramatic 18-17 win over Connacht in Friday's Pro12 clash.
Tuculet's try in the last minute was converted by Patchell providing Cardiff with a victory that Connacht could have wrapped up in the first period.
Connacht enjoyed dominance in the opening period and led 10-3 at the break but the quality of their play could have resulted in a wider margin.
Aly Muldowney and Jake Heenan touched down for Connacht and Craig Ronaldson kicked further points. Tuculet scored Cardiff's two tries and Patchell kicked a pair of penalties and a conversion.
Tiernan O'Halloran had an early try disallowed for Connacht but Heenan soon made amends by scoring, added to by a Ronaldson penalty before Patchell kicked Cardiff back into it.
Cardiff took over in the second period, pinning Connacht back into their own 22, but Alex Cuthbert's try was disallowed.
Blues were rewarded when Tuculet went over in the corner and although Patchell missed the conversion he made no such error with a penalty soon after.
Muldowney hit back for Connacht with a try before the Tuculet-Patchell combination had the final say with just a minute remaining.
