Bristol coach Richard Hill has made just two changes as his side looks to snatch a place in the knockout stages.
Victory over Montpellier will keep alive their outside chances of qualification, and Bristol will go into the game buoyed by the return of Samoan internationals David Lemi and Alfie To'oala.
Lemi is back on the wing having served his two-week suspension for a high tackle, while To'oala has recovered from a knee injury.
"We still have an outside chance of going through to the knock out stages which is interesting," Hill said.
"If Connacht and Viadana win then they will go through ahead of us."
"But, all we can do is win our game and it would be good for us to do that and prove to ourselves that we've taken another step forward and beat a better side than we faced last week.
"Montpellier are fourth in the French Top 14 and Toulon fourteenth so they are a better side."
Montpellier will be in no mood to let Bristol run away with the result as they look to end the campaign on a high.
Fly-half Francois Trinh-Duc will have a point to prove, having been left out of France's Six Nations squad this week.
