The Londoners make five changes to the starting XV that beat Exeter Chiefs in the Aviva Premiership at Adams Park last weekend, with four of those coming in the pack.
Charlie Davies comes into the nine shirt with Joe Simpson moving to the bench in the only change in the back-line.
Phil Swainston replaces the injured Jake Cooper-Woolley, while Kearnan Myall, James Haskell and Sam Jones are all named in the side, with Tom Palmer and Guy Thompson moving to the bench.
"Obviously this game is hugely important in terms of our European campaign," Wasps head coach Dai Young told the club's official website.
"Bayonne are a side that we have got to know very well over the past few seasons; having played them in France in the past two seasons and played them already at Adams Park in round two of this season's competition nothing should come as much of a surprise to us on Saturday night."
"That being said, Bayonne are a very good side with some very talented players in their ranks and their performances at home tend to be very strong.
"We are under no illusions about the size of the challenge and we must focus on producing a clinical performance."
