The Aviva Premiership side ran in 10 tries at the Recreation Ground to secure a third successive bonus-point triumph in the competition, putting them in complete control of Pool 4.
South African number eight Nick Koster marked his debut with a try in the first half, though Bath only led 15-8 against their Italian opponents at the break.
However, the hosts moved through the gears after the re-start to run riot, skipper Guy Mercer securing the extra point early on when he touched down.
The floodgates then opened in the closing quarter as Calvisano faded badly, Mark McMillan, Josh Ovens, Dominic Day, Kane Palmer Newport and David Attwood all notching tries.
By then centre Horacio Agulla had already bagged a brace, while the visitors conceded a late penalty try as their forwards folded under pressure.
Fly-half Tom Heathcote kicked seven conversions and a penalty to finish with a personal haul of 17 points ahead of the return meeting in Italy next weekend.
Meanwhile, the other tie in the pool saw Bucuresti pull off something of a surprise with a 25-24 triumph at home against French side Agen.
