Wigan Warriors have named Stuart Fielden and Gareth Hock in their squad to take on Castleford Tigers on Friday.
Fielden sat out the Warriors' opening-week 47-28 win at Harlequins as he continued his recovery from shoulder surgery, while fellow Great Britain forward Hock was serving out a ban he incurred in the last game of the 2007 season.
Coach Brian Noble said: "Having two internationals back is a great selection headache to have because the people who took their place played pretty well themselves.
"Stuart wasn't far off last week. He actually copped a bit of a virus which probably took him out of the equation."
Hock's suspension - for a dangerous tackle - was for two matches but he has in fact been forced to sit out all three of Wigan's trial games as well as their Super League opener.
"It was a bit unfair the way it worked out," said Noble. "He's served a four-match ban and not a two-match ban. He's really looking forward to playing."
Noble also expressed confidence that captain Sean O'Loughlin will recover from a dead leg in time to play.
However, winger Mark Calderwood and new signing Karl Pryce are still on the sidelines recovering from ankle injuries.
Diminished squad
Meanwhile, Castleford coach Terry Matterson's squad has been further diminished after hooker Scott Moore was banned for two matches by the Rugby Football League's disciplinary tribunal.
The 20-year-old, who is on loan from St Helens for the season, was found guilty of both a dangerous throw and reckless tackle on his Tigers debut in Saturday's 21-14 home defeat by Catalans Dragons.
Moore received a one-match suspension for each offence and was fined £300, which means he will miss both the trip to Wigan and to Huddersfield on Sunday week.
The Tigers already have the smallest squad in Super League and, with Kirk Dixon, Ryan Clayton and Stuart Donlan all sidelined through injury, the loss of Moore leaves Matterson with just 18 players for the trip to the JJB Stadium.
Wingers Richard Owen and Adam Fletcher have been called up to help with the loss of Donlan, who damaged a knee on Saturday.
Wigan 20-man squad: Mathers, Goulding, Carmont, Richards, Barrett, Leuluai, Fielden, Higham, Paleaaesina, Hock, Bailey, O'Loughlin, Colbon, Coley, Hansen, McIlorum, Prescott, Tomkins, O'Carroll, Coyle.
Castleford 18-man squad: Dorn, Shenton, Wainwright, Thackeray, Sherwin, Leafa, Henderson, Korkidas, Guttenbeil, Westerman, Higgins, Huby, Lupton, Boyle, Haberecht, Owen, McGoldrick, Fletcher.
