Warrington hammered Swinton 112-0 in a desperately one-sided Challenge Cup fifth round tie at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
It was a record win for the cup holders as they ran in 20 tries against the outclassed Lions.
They also kept a clean sheet for the third game in a row, which may be more pleasing for coach Tony Smith than events at the other end of the field.
Lee Briers scored 44 points with three tries and 16 goals, while Joel Monaghan ran in four tries.
Swinton came into the game on the back of an unbeaten 12-match run but were swept aside by the rampant Wolves.
Briers took only 90 seconds to set up Warrington's opening try with his towering kick for Joel Monaghan, who outjumped Richard Flooks.
Briers tagged on the conversion and then notched the second try after six minutes after Chris Riley swept past Dale Cunniffe and Alex Hurst to make it 12-0.
Briers was only denied a second touchdown by an unlucky bounce from a Joel Monaghan burst, before Ryan Atkins raced down the opposite flank to stretch the lead to 16-0.
Alex Hurst at least gave the Lions fans something to cheer with an impressive clearance run from behind his own line before Gareth O'Brien, the young Warrington half back, was carried off on a stretcher.
Joel Monaghan added his second try after 18 minutes, courtesy of a smart pass from Chris Bridge.
More Monaghan skill created the chance for Garreth Carvell to plough over to stretch the lead to 26-0 with the prop waiting only two minutes to bag his second.
Charged over
Simon Grix charged over for the Wolves' seventh try with Swinton going almost 20 minutes without touching the ball.
Joel Monaghan completed his hat-trick before brother Michael joined in the celebrations after a mistake by Ian Mort to make it 48-0 at the break.
Briers brought up the half-century early in the second half, latching onto Michael Monaghan's kick and then adding the conversion.
Briers completed his hat-trick before Chris Riley's pace proved too hot for Swinton.
Briers put Ben Westwood over and then Rhys Williams got in on the act, racing down the wing for try number 14.
Westwood completed his brace on the hour before Joel Monaghan clocked up his fourth.
Atkins carved out a second try for Riley nine minutes from time with Briers adding his 13th goal.
There was still time for Bridge to cross and Carvell and Riley to complete their hat-tricks, as Warrington surpassed their 84-1 triumph over York at Wilderspool in the Challenge Cup 11 years ago.
