Warrington remain in second place in the engage Super League table following a seven-try mauling of Salford on Good Friday.
The hosts were still without Vinnie Anderson and Lee Briers but Richie Myler started against his old club having scored twice for the Reds in last year's fixture.
The Wolves were slightly fortunate to get to half-time with a 10-2 lead over the struggling Reds but ran-in a further five scores without reply after the break to maintain their good start to the season.
The Reds edged ahead with a Daniel Holdsworth penalty after six minutes but Warrington had the better of the early exchanges and after Adrian Morley was held up on the line, Matt King put Chris Hicks in at the corner on 10 minutes.
Holdsworth had an opportunity to pull it back but missed an easy penalty chance, and the visitors could still have regained the lead shortly after but Steve Tyrer hesitated close to the line and was bundled into touch.
Errors
Warrington had their fair share of chances as well but were let down by a number of handling errors to give the Reds some hope.
However, Wolves took advantage of another mistake by the visitors when Tyrer's kick rebounded off Ryan Atkins, who collected the ball and sprinted the length of the pitch to touch down.
Chris Bridge saw his conversion attempt come back off an upright which meant the Wolves had an eight-point cushion at the break.
And it was all Warrington in the second half despite an early spill from Chris Riley when he failed to gather Mathers' pass.
Riley made amends after 51 minutes by latching on to Simon Grix's kick to touch down, before Jodie Broughton's error gave Mathers the chance to cross for number four.
Salford continued to shoot themselves in the foot and this time it was Karl Fitzpatrick who coughed the ball up for David Solomona to stroll over with 10 minutes remaining.
Aussie King put Hicks in for his second try three minutes from the end before Riley made it a brace in the dying seconds.
