A spectacular second half fightback against Salford saw Warrington notch up their biggest victory under Tony Smith.
After trailing 20-12 at half-time the Wolves ran in nine tries in the second half, scoring 50 points without reply in the last 40 minutes to finish the game 62-20 winners.
Warrington initially raced into a 12-0 lead in the opening eight minutes with tries from Lee Briers and Garreth Carvell, both converted by Chris Bridge.
But Salford rallied to cut the gap to 12-10 courtesy of Mark Henry and Stuart Littler before Dean McGilvray broke clear for Henry to send Richie Myler scampering over for his 11th try of the season.
Reds forward Ian Sibbit marked his return from injury to face his old club by putting in Jeremy Smith just before the break.
Humiliation
Paul Johnson claimed his 100th career try early in the second half to cut the deficit to 20-18 and Simon Grix latched onto Briers' kick through a lazy defence to retake the lead for the home side.
Briers remained in the thick of it, scoring a second try to make it 30-20 before putting Ben Westwood over for a try.
Chris Riley and returning skipper Adrian Morley piled on the humiliation for the Reds, the latter sauntering in for his first Super League try in over two years.
Bridge, Brian Carney and Hicks added to Salford's misery before the whistle, with Bridge also completing a 22-point haul with nine goals from 11 attempts.
The win saw Warrington move back into the top eight of the Super League.
