London Broncos 10-30 Salford: Red Devils secure another victory on the road

Salford Red Devils inflicted a sixth straight defeat on London Broncos as four first-half tries helped them to a 30-10 win over Super League's bottom side.
Joey Lussick, Niall Evalds, Dan Murray and Jackson Hastings all crossed before the break as Salford continued their impressive away form with a fifth win in seven road trips.
Lussick sniped over in just the fifth minute to get Salford up and running as he pounced on home full-back Alex Walker's fumble from a high ball.
Soon after history was made as Evalds scored his 10th of the campaign and in doing so became Salford's all-time record Super League try-scorer.
Josh Jones' deft offload out of the tackle allowed Evalds to go over unopposed and before the Broncos had even had sight of the Salford line, the game was out of their reach.
Hastings, as he did almost at will throughout the afternoon, cut open the home midfield before putting in Dan Murray.
And, the Australian play-maker added the fourth himself, his sleight of hand outfoxing the Broncos defence to allow Hastings to score under the posts.
With Krisnan Inu bettering all four Salford tries, overhauling a 24-point deficit was always going to be tough for Danny Ward's men.
Rhys Williams's effort early in the second half was just the start required by the hosts, Jordan Abdull and Alex Walker engineering space for the wide man to dot down on the blind side.
But that did not prove to be the spark the home support demanded and the north-west side added a fifth 15 minutes from time.
Lee Mossop snuffed out any hopes of London making it an uncomfortable final period for the Devils, the prop forward powering over from a couple of yards to take the score to 30-4 following Inu's extras.
Matt Fleming added a late consolation for London - he was first to react after Evalds could not cleanly gather a booming aerial ball.
Yet it did not mask a decidedly poor showing from London, whose trademark desire and energy, displayed even in defeat this term, went missing.
A seventh consecutive defeat in all competitions, including a Challenge Cup defeat at the hands of Championship side Halifax, keeps the Broncos rooted to the bottom of the Super League table.
With that run, their trip to Wigan on Thursday night already carries extra importance at this relatively early stage in the season.
For Salford, a journey to struggling Leeds next weekend presents an opportunity to further close the gap on a clutch of clubs that form a congested top six.
