Hull KR have had two weeks to dwell on their last outing - a 54-0 defeat at St Helens.
The visit of the Crusaders - just a place below them in 10th - comes at a crucial time for Justin Morgan's struggling side, but they do have two key men returning.
Centre Kris Welham, their leading tryscorer, is back in place of Michael Ratu after missing the defeat by Saints with a knee injury.
Rovers also welcome back loose forward Ben Galea, who has missed the last two games with a hamstring problem.
Crusaders can get back to concentrating on the league after their agonising 35-34 Challenge Cup defeat to Catalans last week.
Former Great Britain winger Gareth Raynor is back after a two-month lay-off with a whiplash injury.
Second-rower Adam Peek also returns to the squad after missng the game against the Dragons.
