Shaun Lunt scored a try in each half as the Giants, who opened 2013 with a stunning success away at St Helens, cruised to victory at the John Smith's Stadium on Sunday.
The hooker also had a hand in the opening try for Eorl Crabtree, while Craig Kopczak, Brett Ferres and Joe Wardle also touched down in the second half.
All the Broncos had to show for their efforts was a 23rd minute try from Shane Rodney, converted by debutant Shane Grady, as they slumped to a second straight defeat.
Crabtree's score in the seventh minute broke the deadlock and when Lunt crossed for his first of the afternoon, dodging two defenders superbly to reach the line, the hosts looked to be on course for a comfortable victory.
They could have been further ahead had Jermaine McGillvary been able to ground the ball with an acrobatic dive following Scott Grix's kick through.
Rodney's solo effort got the Broncos on the board and Huddersfield suffered a further blow when David Faiumu was forced off with a head injury in a heavy challenge.
The Giants, who handed Ukuma Ta'ai a debut despite the fact he only trained with the squad for the first time on Wednesday, stepped up a gear early in the second half.
After Leory Cudjoe fluffed an easy chance with a telegraphed pass, former Bradford forward Kopczack marked his home bow by powering over.
Lunt settled the match in Huddersfield's favour with a fine solo try before they went over twice more before the final hooter.
Brett Ferres found his way to the line after 69 minutes and Joe Wardle powered through in overtime to complete a comprehensive victory, Danny Brough adding the last of his five conversions to round out the scoring.
