Huddersfield strengthened their grip on a Super League top-four spot with a 32-14 win against Hull KR at the John Smith's Stadium on Sunday.
Scrum-half Danny Brough scored his 100th career try as Huddersfield recorded their third straight win.
The Giants ran in six tries in total, with Brough, Michael Lawrence, Aaron Murphy, Leroy Cudjoe, Jermaine McGillvary and Ukuma Ta'ai all crossing the whitewash to end Hull KR's own run of victories.
Brough had a hand in the Giants' first try as he followed up his own kick forward on nine minutes, which forced John Boudebza to drop the ball on his try line. Lawrence pounced for a touchdown and Brough added the extras to get on the scoresheet for the 20th consecutive match.
Hull KR, seeking a fifth straight win, hit back with a spell of pressure which Brough relieved on 13 minutes with a 40-20 kick from inside his own half.
But Kris Welham soon finished off a flowing move in the left corner on 15 minutes to make it 6-4.
Brough was involved again on 21 minutes when his final pass saw Murphy go in for a try in the left corner, only to be held up on the line.
Play swung to the other flank and Jared Simpson put McGillvary in, but his touchdown was ruled out for a forward pass.
The danger seemed to have gone as Hull KR restarted play with a scrum, only for Kevin Larroyer to fumble the ball. Murphy seized on the mistake for an easy try and soon after set up Jamie Ellis for an effort that was ruled out for failing to ground the ball properly.
Hull KR replied with another spell of pressure which saw Albert Kelly dive over on the half-hour mark from former Giants star Shaun Lunt's final pass.
Winger Josh Mantellato converted from distance to register his 63rd goal of an impressive season.
More pressure
More pressure followed and Brough helped his side again with another 40-20 which turned the tide back in Huddersfield's favour.
The Giants went into the break 16-10 up when Ellis put Cudjoe in for a try that Brough converted.
Brough was at it again on 45 minutes when he kicked a penalty awarded for Hull KR not being square to the ball.
And then came Brough's 100th career try during a spectacular storm that saw temperatures plunge amid heavy rain, thunder and lightning.
Substitute Kyle Wood broke from deep on 53 minutes and passed outside to the on-coming Brough, who splashed down in the right corner unchallenged.
Eight minutes later, a Brough bomb into the same area was expertly taken by McGillvary as he crashed over for a try.
Ta'ai was next to score a converted touchdown but Mantellato had the last word in the final seconds when he took down Boudebza's high kick for a try.
