Halifax produced a dominant performance to seal a 34-6 win over Dewsbury to book their place in the Coral Challenge Cup quarter-finals.
The five-time winners ran in six tries as they saw off their fellow Championship opponents with centre Chester Butler going over the whitewash twice.
Winger James Saltonstall also scored two tries with full-back James Woodburn-Hall and left winger Shaun Robinson completing a routine outing.
Ste Tyrer added four conversions, while scrum-half Ben White converted a late penalty as Halifax secured a last eight spot.
Former Halifax player Liam Finn converted Lucas Walshaw's try in response for the hosts.
Fax won the last of their five Challenge Cup titles against St Helens in 1987.
