Second-rower Hep Cahill has been recalled to the Crusaders squad for the visit of Salford on Friday night.
The New Zealander was rested for the defeat to Leeds last Friday but comes back into the 19-man squad in place of Paul Johnson, who has suffered a recurrence of a shoulder injury.
A shoulder injury has also ruled out captain Clinton Schifcofske, who will spend up to five weeks on the sidelines, with Jordan Tansey set to deputise again at full-back.
Wales winger Lee Williams has been drafted into the squad by coach Iestyn Harris as a replacement for Schifcofske.
Bottom-of-the-table Crusaders have won just one of their last eight matches in all competitions but Harris was encouraged by what he saw during the 12-7 loss to the Rhinos.
"Preparations have been going well. We've had some really good training sessions this week and all the boys look very sharp," he told the club's official website.
Improve
"We're trying to improve on some of the things we did in the Leeds game and trying to iron out some of the problems we had in that game.
"But if the players show the same attitude and intensity that they had in that game then we are going to be a very difficult team to beat."
Salford coach Phil Veivers could name the same starting line-up for a fourth straight week as the Reds look to avoid a third defeat of the season to the Welsh outfit.
Stand-off Carl Sneyd has come back into the squad, however, while three-quarter Ashley Gibson could also be included in the match-day party.
Despite their poor record against the Crusaders, the Reds have enjoyed a much better season overall and are currently three points behind Hull in the race for the final play-off place.
