Scrum-half Brent Sherwin is expected to be back in the Castleford team, with the Australian due to return from an injury lay-off.
Centre Kirk Dixon and second-rower Ryan Clayton are also due to return for the Tigers, with Mark Leafa and back injury victim Adam Fletcher left out.
Castleford have two wins in six as they prop up the Super League table, but they did manage a first away win of the season last time out at Warrington.
Terry Matterson's men will look to record back-to-back victories against the local rivals, and they have revenge on their minds after losing 54-16 in Cardiff last month.
Instrumental Australian hooker Brad Drew will be missing from the Wakefield Wildcats side as he has returned home following the death of his father.
New signing Matt Peterson is also not available as he is yet to be handed his work permit and he will have to wait to make his debut for the club.
