A cracking renewal of this prestigious prize and the vote goes to Bollin Eric who can uphold last year's St Leger form over Mamool while Warrsan and last year's winner Zindabad rate as the main dangers. Tim Easterby's charge showed smart form over shorter trips last year but really came in to his own for the step up to this distance when running out a decisive winner of the world's oldest Classic at Town Moor. The son of Shaamit made a pleasing comeback last month when fourth behind Warrsan in the John Porter despite conceding lumps of weight to his rivals and looking in need of the outing. On 5lb better terms, the four-year-old can reverse the Newbury form and should prove hard to beat over his optimum trip under Kevin Darley. Warrsan represents a bang in form stable and the five-year-old has thrived this year, following up his Newbury win by landing a Group 2 at Newmarket so clearly has to be respected once again. Zindabad is a tough performer at this level and won't go down without a fight but this looks tougher than the race he won twelve months ago while Mamool is held by Doncaster form and the Godolphin stable have been a little below form.
