Victory Venture gets the narrowest of votes ahead of Ampoule and Duc's Dream. Mark Johnston's charge ran a stinker at Ripon last time out, but is better judged on his previous outing at Catterick, when the winning margin could have been trebled. Ampoule has been on the go all season but retains his form well, as he proved at Musselburgh last time when chasing home the odds on Treculiar. Duc's Dream is another one that thrives on racing and returns to Yarmouth after running Jaderon to two and a half lengths at the end of August. But we'll take Victory Venture to keep the Johnston bandwagon going.
