      Verdict

      Wibbadune is down in class but she has plenty of weight to carry and is passed over in favour of DRIFTING GOLD. The selection is well-drawn and she has a better strike-rate than many in the line-up. She wasn't beaten far last time at Lingfield and is racing off a mark of 70, 2lbs lower than when winning over this course and distance in January 2008. Nomoreblondes returns from an absence and is one to watch in the betting, Sils Vincero and Fangfoss Girls are only three but have already recorded course and distance wins, whilst Welsh Opera and Cheshire Rose are consistent but infrequent winners. Miacarla has three wins to her name, including off a mark of 52 at Thirsk in 2007. Her long run without a win would be a worry for backers and she has tended to need a run or two previously before getting competitive. A tricky race to figure out but preference is for Drifting Gold.
