        In depth

        Verdict

        The short list here contains Ours, Bens Georgie and Iced Diamond, with the selection being Iced Diamond. Whilst the form of Our's course and distance maiden win has yet to be franked, we feel that he ought to be competitive off his current rating. Haroldini has recent placings from his current mark over course and distance so more of the same could be expected. A return to his autumn form would see Benny The Bus fare well, while Millfield needs to rediscover his 2005 form if he is to feature, although more-recent efforts have not been great. Last summer's Turf form reflects Bens Georgie in a good light, and he has won on this surface, while Iced Diamond is just a pound above a course and distance winning mark of a year ago. Finally, Another Genepi isn't ruled out of a place based on recent improved efforts. Overall, though, we will side with Iced Diamond.
