An interesting finale with a number of in-form rivals in opposition including three last-time-out winners and Caesarean Hunter is handed the vote. Sylvester Kirk's gelding has won two of his last four starts including a handicap at Southwell last week. The son of Jade Hunter remains relatively lightly raced and is open to further improvement so is taken to defy a 6lb penalty. Parachute was an impressive seven-length maiden winner last time but that race took little winning and his overall form suggests he is likely to struggle off his current mark back in handicaps. Monsal Dale also takes a step up in grade after his selling victory earlier in the month so winning hurdler Dick The Taxi, who remains on a fair mark, may prove a bigger danger.
