Bavarica is the confident recommendation ahead of Westering Home and Cove Mountain. The selection is not the easiest of rides but appears to get on well with Amy Baker and there is little stength in depth here despite the number of runners. Westering Home is exposed as moderate but the jockey booking of Dale Gibson catches the eye. The ex-Dermot Weld inmate has been tried over distances far in excess of today's trip and might be better suited by this drop. Cove Mountain was well fancied on Friday at Lingfield and while she had her excuses on that occasion, Sylvester Kirk's filly is proving expensive to follow. Our Kes has ran poorly since returning from the States and is watched until there are any signs of a return to form. Emily's Place is noted in the market on a step up in trip. Ignition has the booking of useful 7lb claimer, William Buick, and could be given a solid chance on the form of a close-up fifth to Atlantic Story at the beginning of the month. Bavarica looks to have conditions in her favour and will not get an easier opportunity at this grade than this.
