In depth

Verdict

In the finale, Peruvian Prince is selected ahead of Just Bond and Zalkani. Peruvian Prince comes here on a fair old roll, having won his last three races and, despite another penalty, has to be given serious claims again. Just Bond is also in good form. He won well over course and distance last time and, even though he has a career-high mark to defy, is respected. Irish raider Zakfree is not badly weighted based on his best home efforts, although he lacks all-weather form, and Buscador has ground to make up on the selection based on their recent course and distance meeting. Zalkani is not badly weighted on Lingfield form from earlier in the season but Our Kes needs to step up on recent efforts if he is to score. Once again, the vote goes to Peruvian Prince.
