Desert Fury was a winner over this trip and Southwell last time and will be popular, but we will take Repeat to lower his colours, with Wodhill Gold and Sam The Sorceror others to consider. Repeat handled the surface well at Lingfield last time and has already enjoyed a course win here. The trip is fine for him, and he seems straightforward enough to take a chance on. Desert Fury has to give weight away and his wins-runs ratio is not great, so following up his recent success will be difficult, especially as he is not an easy ride. Wodhill Gold was a beaten favourite in a similar event last time and could again be involved in the frame in a first-time visor, while Sam The Sorceror, Fir Tree and Mr Uppity would all probably prefer slower ground to be at their best, so we'll take Repeat to score.
