A poor seller which can be taken by Czar Wars, from Tree Roofer and Bonny Ruan. John Balding's gelding drops back to the minimum trip for the first time in a long while, and while that is a concern, the way he has run over 6f suggests that it should not be too much of an inconvenience. In better form than the majority of his rivals lately, he looks pretty well in at these weights and should be good enough on a surface he enjoys. Tree Roofer comes from the yard of all weather king Nick Littmoden and in truth he has a fair bit to find with the selection. However, he is more used to running over the trip, handles the surface well and those first time blinkers can help him to go very close. Bonny Ruan is a five furlong specialist and has shown enough form to make the frame her without question. However, it is her first time on the all weather and as she does seem to like fast ground, she has questions to answer on the fibresand. It would be a surprise if she were up to beating the selection, Czar Wars.
