Not a race to get heavily involved in financially and one that can be taken by Heathyards Swing, with Gregorian and Mission To Mars likely to give good accounts. Reg Hollinshead's gelding ran well over course and distance a couple of starts ago when second to Royal Prodigy and races off the same mark of 57 here. Not knocked about when beaten then, he put in a lack lack-lustre effort at Southwell last time, but takes plenty of racing and can come back to form on this tighter track. Gregorian takes a trip into the unknown with his first start on the all weather, but this fast ground performer over hurdles looks pretty well treated and should go well, with the big 'if' being his ability to handle the fibresand. Mission To Mars has no worries on that count, being a course and distance winner. However, the gelding has looked fully exposed since then and is not well in at the weights here either. Despite that, his ability to act on the track is proven and he can claim a place, but the vote remains with Heathyards Swing.
