Racing at Dunstall Park gets underway with a fairly competitive sprint handicap with a number of lightly raced and progressive types in opposition. They include Tough Nut who showed plenty of determination at the finish to land a classified event over seven furlongs here last week. The son of Sri Pekan escapes a penalty for that apprentices' heat and actually meets the third Fulvio (beaten a length-and-a-half) on 4lb better terms taking the rider's allowance in to account so should have no difficulty in confirming the form. The drop back in trip should also be no problem for this pacey performer who can enhance his trainer's excellent strike rate at the track. Angel Isa represents a bang in-form yard and has to be feared despite the suspicion that she may ideally prefer a little further. In contrast, this trip should prove ideal for Blessed Place who has claims on his staying-on third over the minimum trip on his all-weather debut at Lingfield earlier in the month. The latter should go well off the same mark while last month's Southwell selling winner Wensleydale Lad is better than he showed last time after losing several lengths at the start and shouldn't be discounted.
