Possibly best to stick with a horse in form so Desert Hawk gets the nod, ahead of Fulvio and The City Kid. The selection won well just six days ago over course and distance, and a 5lb penalty may not be enough to scuttle his chances today. He appreciated the fast pace that day and as long as this is run at a similar gallop, he can be the one finishing fastest of all. The City Kid also won last time out, however that was a weak contest and he will have to show some improvement today if he is to defy an 8lb hike in the weights. Fulvio is consistent so looks one for place betting purposes, however he failed to make any impression in a seller 16 days ago so cannot be fancied today. At a bigger Price Lobengula could run into some place money if shrugging off his poor last run, whilst Newport Boy would be interesting if the money came for him. Ultimately then we will stick with the most recent winner, Desert Hawk.
