The City Kid, Boreana and Summer Recluse are three against the field in this competitive handicap, and the vote is given to The City Kid. The selection won well last time out when beating Bens Georgie, and although rising in the weights he looks sure to have the race run to suit, and is taken to win again. Boreana rates the main danger on his latest second behind Kindallachan, but he has had plenty of chances without taking one, and is becoming expensive to follow. Summer Recluse is another that could go well on his latest fourth behind Sedge, but this hold up performer will need plenty of luck in running. Of the others, Ocean Gift has won off a higher mark in the past and could go well at a price, but for the winner we are happy to return to The City Kid.
