Regal Gallery is most consistent and can outstay the likes of Albavilla, Dovedon Hero and Skye's Folly to name but three. Regal Gallery will have no problems with the new surface here as she has been a prolific runner on the Lingfield version for the past two years, winning four times in all. This will be her first attempt at today's longer trip but judging from the way that she stayed on from the back under Frankie Dettori a fortnight ago, Con Horgan's mare will relish the journey. Albavilla has been placed on a few occasions and is another trying the trip for the first time. She is still a maiden though, while Dovedon Hero ran a promising race on his all-weather debut when chasing home the 'good thing' Don't Call Me Derek here 11 days ago. He stays two miles and should be in the shake-up along with Skye's Folly who seems to have fared better since being fitted with blinkers. Banningham Blaze makes a quick reappearance after winning at Yarmouth on Saturday but has more to do under a six-pound penalty, and Hefin has not been seen since scoring at Lingfield last November. So, the answer to a tricky contest may well be Regal Gallery.
