A very ordinary claimer in which Pup's Pride, already a five-time winner at this course, is only marginally preferred over Jakarami and Nite-Owl Fizz, who arrive here with the most solid claims out of the rest. Although Frank's Quest could also go close if he takes to this surface at the first time of asking. However, as the fibresand is something of an acquired taste, he is not guaranteed to appreciate the kick-back and is best watched this time around. Jakarami, as the least exposed in the field, will be a big danger to them all if he puts in a similar display to the one that saw him win a seller over course and distance last month. But he failed to reproduce the goods last time and could be one to be wary of at the moment. Therefore, Nite-Owl Fizz, who always has to be feared at this sort of level here, comes here as the one likely to give the selection the most to do. In turn though, Jimmy O'Reilly's charge does have plenty to find with Pup's Pride on these terms and he has plenty to find on balance. So in summary, Pup's Pride has been found a good opening to assert himself in a race that really will not take much winning.
