Sir Desmond, Khalidia and Global Achiever are the three to concentrate on in this competitive sprint and the last named just edges the decision. Greg Chung's gelding deserves to add to his November course success having put in three decent efforts since. The victory came over the minimum trip but his second to Treasure House in a six furlong claimer makes very good reading and he still looks on a very decent mark and should go close from a near perfect draw. Khalidia is a very interesting runner, he has only had three outings and has shown tremendous promise on each occasion. His fitness has to be taken on trust as he hasn't raced since June, and he has never tried the all-weather, but he does have the potential to be better than these, so should be watched closely in the market. Sir Desmond returned to the all-weather last month after taking a Redcar handicap, and wasn't disgraced, going down by just a length to Cherokee Nation, this is a lot stronger race but he should still figure in the finish. Hurricane Coast is another with a chance at his best, but on this occasion we will side with Global Achiever.
