Mission To Mars has been in fantastic form all winter and might just defy the handicapper again, with Intricate Web, Mandoob, Border Tale and Red Wine all expected to make their presence felt. Mission To Mars has been on a roll and if this were run at Lingfield, scene of his last five victories, he would have an even stronger case. However, Peter Hedger's charge has been successful here in the past so does act on the slower surface. He does stay, which will come in handy on this surface, and although he will have to score off a career high mark, he should be up to the task. Mandoob also lines up in form, having won on his last two visits to Dunstal Park and in receipt of weight from the selection, should make his presence felt as well. Border Tale had the race run to suit when narrowly beating Digger last time and perhaps has more to do now, and a bigger threat can be Intricate Web, providing he gets the trip. Red Wine brings a touch of class to proceedings but is likely to need the run, and so it is back to Mission To Mars as the answer.
