Jarvo is out to get losses back and can do so at the expense of Eight Ellington who makes a quick reappearance, and Crimson Star. Jarvo once again proved disappointing when outbattled by Never Forget Bowie over the course and distance just before Christmas, but gets a chance to redeem himself in an equally poor contest. Most of his best efforts on Turf have been over six and seven furlongs but he did have both Danum and Eight Ellington behind last time and should just about have their measure again on these terms. Crimson Star ran up a sequence of seconds in September, and would have needed the outing on her return at Lingfield last month. She will be a lot fitter now and should make a bold bid to be placed at least. The trip is a bit of a worry with Jarvo, but Nick Littmoden obviously feels that he has the required stamina and that is good enough for us.
