Verdict

A much better division of the Fillies' Handicap than its predecessor some thirty minutes prior. Roses of Spring is very game and it was with some justification that she gained a victory at Lingfield last time out. She is not sure to stay six furlongs though and we will look elsewhere on this occasion. With Tancred Times showing us little in comparison to her turf efforts, we will side with Fiamma Royale. Held by the top horse over five furlongs - she had previously shown much superior form over the trip for both Jamie Osborne and her current trainer. Any rediscovery of that form would mean that a reversal of Lingfield placings is far from out of the question. Long Tall Sally (if she handles the surface) is pointed out as the danger. Any support for Pilgrim Princess should not be discounted. Her yard is highly shrewd in landing these contests and the horse has shown some glimpses of ability in the past.
