Glenbuck gets the nod over Blue Beacon and Hoh Wotanite in a modest finale at Wolverhampton. Hoh Wotanite improved for the step up in trip last time and arrives here at the top of his game. However, he will need to find a touch more to defy a 7lb hike for his win at Lingfield, so it may be prudent to check the vibes of the betting market before getting heavily involved with this son of Stravinsky. Blue Beacon has scope for progression and appears to be going the right way. Kevin Ryan has now had a little time to gauge her abilities and, as she already has experience of this track, a bold bid can be anticipated. However, Glenbuck bolted up in a claimer at Newmarket last time and will be a force to be reckoned with if he posts a similar display. Alan Bailey's charge is a wily character that has a good turn of foot on his day and, considering that he breezed past a better quality of opponent last time, he has little to fear in an ordinary heat like this.
