      Verdict

Monda is taken to land the finale at the expense of Lucius Verrus and Mustammer. The selection has not won for over eighteen months but caught the eye when second to Mill By The Stream last time out at Southwell. He has risen four pounds in the ratings but if repeating that performance he will prove difficult to beat. Top weight Lucius Verrus will be the biggest danger. He carries a penalty for his success at Southwell last time out. Even though he has been a model of consistency of late we feel he will find things tough from now on. Mustammer has been running better of late and even though he has not troubled the judge in the process he has place claims. But for the winner we return to Monda.
