Verdict

Miss The Boat is nothing out of the ordinary but should be too good for his rivals here and is taken to win at the main expense of Estrelle and Desert Secrets. The last mentioned ran better in a handicap last time but has 15lbs to find with selection on official BHB ratings. Mick Channon's Doctor Bailey makes a belated debut and is difficult to recommend on his first start, while Webbswood Lad has a long absence to overcome and only has experience of the all-weather. A bigger threat then is likely to come from Henry Cecil's Estrelle, who showed plenty of promise on her debut behind Jeremy Noseda's Victory Design, although her conqueror there let the form down at Newmarket on Friday. The vote then goes to Miss The Boat, who has shown enough in three starts so far to suggest that she can provide John Dunlop with another winner.
