The form of Michelle Ma Belle's one-length victory over Full Spate was boosted when the runner-up won over the weekend and Sylvester Kirk's filly is taken to defy the 6lb penalty and score at the main expense of Jonny Ebeneezer and Zilch. The last mentioned has won three times this term, latterly when successful over course and distance her in June, but may be in the grip of the handicapper now. Jonny Ebeneezer has also been hit for his consistency but is in form and again has the assistance of Frankie Dettori. Little Edward is gradually slipping to a fair mark but has been done few favours with a draw in stall one and of more interest may be Caustic Wit. The six-year-old is another with winning course and distance form to his name and has a favourable berth in stall 18. John Best's Mine Behind, the Brooke Sanders-trained Jayanjay and Richard Hannon's Presto Shinko - the mount of Kieren Fallon - are other to consider but the vote goes to Michelle Ma Belle.
