Dual bumper winner Earth Man made a pleasing hurdling debut last time and is taken to beat Allumee and Magnesium. The selection finished behind today's rival Allumee when they finished second and third to Carthys Cross over course and distance. Earth Man has just over three lengths to find with the runner up, but as it was his first venture over obstacles he should improve leaps and bounds and is taken to reverse the form. Magnesium is also quite lightly raced over hurdles and is progressing nicely. He wasn't beaten far into fourth in a hot race at Newbury last time and will be hard to keep out of the places today. Any money for the newcomer Skibereen would be interesting, but Earth Man is expected to progress and should be capable of landing first prize.
