Verdict

AUTUMN SHOWERS attempted to make all at Fairyhouse and was only headed inside the final furlongs so, if the going remains quick, he can go one better. Gleesons Tipp ran a fine race over hurdles on that same track earlier this month and should have the pace for bumpers so should give a good account. Graineyhill looks a staying type who could do with more testing conditions but it's about time Jimmy Breekie was winning after four successive placed efforts in bumpers. The latter hasn't been beaten far and commands respect while Pauplewel is surely better than we saw at Punchestown a year ago.
