Verdict
The 2014 Triumph Hurdle winner TIGER ROLL hasn't done quite as well as expected over fences though he did manage to land the Munster National at Limerick before a reasonable run at Cheltenham - his overall form should be good enough for this. Bay Of Freedom gained his only success over hurdles on heavy ground here in April and made a successful debut in similar conditions over fences at Listowel. He would pose a threat if the going eases while Venitien De Mai is another with a liking for very testing ground as his three victories under Rules have all come in those conditions. Presenting Mahler didn't have much chance in a Grade Three at Gowran after a narrow success at Sligo and he's another who needs some rain.
