Verdict
Return Spring was sent off favourite for a Grade 3 chase at Warwick but never settled into a rhythm and was pulled-up. He boasts the highest official rating while Ned Stark failed to cope with the likes of Pitt Zig in the the Dipper Chase at Cheltenham last time. He finished a couple of lengths behind third-placed TOP TOTTI on that occasion and the latter may prove good enough having beaten Rattlin a long way at Uttoxter earlier. Kaki De La Pree has plenty to find with Return Spring on running at Exeter while Straidnahanna beat Gonow and George Fenback easily enough at Catterick on New Year's Day. Tonvadosa won her chasing debut at Kelso last time and tries her luck in Graded company.
