A very competitive handicap chase here in which all the runners would have chances on there best form but the TEAMtalk selection is Star Jack. The gelding from the Jimmy FitzGerald yard won in the style of an improving horse over course and distance last time out when defeating Turgeonev and despite his rise in the weights he is taken to score again under similar conditions. Mini Sensation rates the main danger he was a good second behind The Bunny Boiler last time out at Uttoxeter but that was over a much longer trip and may be outpaced here. Luzcadou won well at Ayr when defeating The Grey Dyer over this trip but that was a false run race and he to is better over further. Monarch's Pursuit is well in on his best form and has been running well without winning of late. But the gelding from the Tim Easterby yard has been let down by his jumping at vital stages of late. Gun'n Roses II would win this on his best form for Martin Pipe but he failed to sparkle on his debut for his new connections on his first run for them. Nosam is not getting any younger and needs to improve on his latest form to trouble the principals.
