Verdict

Aidan Coleman has ridden Spirit D'Amour for retainer Venetia Williams in the past but has turned down the nine-year-old here in favour of CALL THE DETECTIVE (NAP). Ali Stronge's novice wasn't disgraced when third on his handicap debut at Taunton and Coleman's stronger handling can see the novice reverse Ffos Las running in November with Belmount, who is 6lb worse off. A return to hurdling at Chepstow suited Extreme Impact and he's another to consider while Bravo Bravo has been showing a bit more lately and also enters calculations with Conor Shoemark claiming 3lb.
