Ina competitive race, Adeje Park is selected ahead of Pure Fiction and Musical Guest. Adeje Park ran well on his seasonal return in a competitive handicap at Newmarket last time and, with that run under his belt and with his stable being among the winners, he can go well today. Savernake Blue's stable is also in form but this Catterick maiden winner will have to build on his unplaced return at Newmarket last time in order to feature today, while the well-bred Jaad is open to plenty of improvement and, if settling better than on his seasonal return, can go well. Carmenero looks fairly weighted but, possessing scope to progress this time around, could go well, and Musical Guest would hold claims if managing to get back to the best of his form of last season, and he is closely weighted with Your Amount based on the latter's course and distance nursery win of last season. Another that looks ripe for improvement this year is Richard Hannon's lightly-raced Pure Fiction, and he gets a good mention, while Broken Spur can't be ruled out based on his all-weather form of late. All in all, it's a competitive affair, with the vote going to Adeje Park.
