Debbie gets the call over Waimea Bay, with Bonny Grey and Titian Flame best of the rest. Debbie made a bold bid to defy a penalty when second to Tigers Lair at Aintree just over a fortnight ago, and although that rival was beaten himself the other night, the form still looks good enough for her to take this. A convincing winner at Wetherby the time before, Debbie has the assistance of Richard Johnson and is taken to pick off her main rival Waimea Bay in the straight. Peter Hedger's five-year-old has been brought along steadily and was a lot closer to Wasted Talent at Newton Abbot than she was at Fontwell when they met previously. She is still learning though and has yet to open her account, so is destined to play second fiddle again. Of the rest, Titian Flame has showed a glimmer of ability in the past, and Bonny Grey has winning form to her name. However, Debbie lines up in good form and should take the beating.
